Standard User incl Case – Role & Permissions #
The Standard User incl Case role in MedQdoc is designed for users who need access to case management and day-to-day document work in folders they are assigned to. Document permissions are primarily controlled via folder permissions and group privileges.
Case Management #
- View Cases – Access the Cases page and case details
- Create Case – Create new cases
- Update Case – Update case details
- Delete Case – Delete cases from the company
Folder Access #
- Browse – View the Browse page and folder structure
- Create Folder – Create new folders
- Update Folder – Update folder details
- Delete Folder – Delete folders
Folder Permissions #
- View Folder Permissions – View the Folder permission page and its details
Search #
- Search – View and use the search page
Document Privileges #
- Can be selected as Collaborator – The user can select a collaborator and share a document with them
My Created #
- Create Document – User can create a new document
- My Created Lists – User can see lists of documents created by the user, including:
- Documents created by me
- Documents sent for review
- Reviewed documents
- Documents sent for approval
- Approved documents
- Documents shared with me
- Deleted documents
My Tasks #
- View Task Lists – User can view documents with task-related statuses, such as:
- Needs to be reviewed
- Needs to be approved
- Reading receipt requested
Possible Group Permissions (Document Lifecycle) #
Depending on group membership and assigned folder scope, the user may be granted lifecycle permissions below. These permissions can be assigned directly to the user via group configuration and may also apply indirectly through folder relationships.
- Create – Authority to create documents in related folders
- Read – Access to Approved and Published documents (folder-related)
- Review – If appointed as Reviewer, relevant documents appear in lists
- Approve – If appointed as Approver, relevant documents appear in lists
- Archive – Authority to archive documents created by the user or where the user is collaborator
- Concerned By – Makes the user selectable for reading receipt (requires Reader permission)
Profile & Group Logic #
- Group privileges may remain even if removed from the profile
- Profile change can be blocked if the user belongs to groups with privileges not available in the new profile
- Group privilege updates require matching profile permissions for all users in the group
