Approve, Reject, and Review Documents in MedQdoc #
In MedQdoc, document review and approval tasks are handled through the My Tasks section. This view helps you keep track of all documents that require your action, including reviews, approvals, rejections, and reading confirmations.
Accessing My Tasks #
To view the documents and actions assigned to you, open the My Tasks view from the left-hand menu.
To open My Tasks:
- In the left-hand menu, locate the My Actions section.
- Select My Tasks.
- The page displays all documents where you are involved in a review, approval, rejection, or reading process.
Understanding the Task Lists #
Within the My Tasks view, documents are grouped into lists based on the type of action required from you.
- Needs to be approved – Displays documents waiting for your review or approval. These documents are typically in a For review or For approval status and require action before they can continue in the workflow.
- Reading receipt requested – Contains published documents where you must confirm that you have read and understood the content.
Each list provides useful information such as document number, document name, status, creator, prefix, and applicable standard references.
Completing Your Tasks #
From the My Tasks view, you can open each document and perform the required action.
- Open a document from either the Needs to be approved list or the Reading receipt requested list.
- Review the document content.
- If approval or review is required, follow your organization’s process to approve, comment on, or reject the document.
- If a reading receipt is requested, confirm that you have read the document so the system can record your acknowledgement.
Using the My Tasks section ensures that all required actions are handled on time and that document review and approval activities remain controlled, traceable, and compliant within MedQdoc.
